- Dermal filler within the last 2 weeks
- Anti-wrinkle injections (Botox) within the last 2 weeks
- Chemical peel, microneedling, or laser treatment within the last 7–10 days
- Facial surgery within the last 6 weeks
Upcoming travel or events
- Travelling or flying within 3 days after injectable treatments
Medical conditions
- Active cold sores or lip infections
- Skin infections, open wounds, or severe acne in the treatment area
- Currently pregnant or breastfeeding
- Known allergy to hyaluronic acid or lidocaine
- Autoimmune disease not medically controlled
- Taking blood-thinning medication unless cleared by your doctor
Recent medications or illness
- Recent antibiotic treatment
- Current viral illness or fever
Lifestyle factors
- Excessive alcohol intake within 24 hours before treatment
- Sunburn or inflamed skin in the treatment area
